We are looking for an experienced National Wholesale Sales Account Manager to bring fresh ideas and energy to this highly successful global fashion & accessories business. You will be looking after an exciting portfolio of established (national) clients as well as pro-actively seeking new business opportunities in the retail trade and ecommerce space.
We are looking for someone with a strategic and innovative style to sales and account management – someone who can maintain long-term relationships and cultivate and grow new relationships within the industry. This is a great opportunity for someone to come in, have a valued voice and possibility of quick progression to Sales Director level!
This role is a client facing role so we are looking for someone happy to travel to meet clients in person; and have a fantastic central London HQ on a hybrid basis.
Competitive salary + bonus + car allowance
The Role
- To deliver sales targets against assigned national key accounts.
- Weekly analysis, forecasting and reporting – feeding back to stakeholders on risks and opportunities.
- Manage and present relevant seasonal products to retailers.
- Curate commercial and tactical selling strategies and co-ordinate across internal functions to deliver customer needs.
- Future business planning.
- Lead regular sales review meetings.
- Work closely with the Marketing and VM teams to support execution of new product ranges and initiatives.
The Person
- Ideally at least 7 years’ experience in sales, managing national retail accounts – both key account management and new business.
- Experience selling a variety of categories is preferable.
- Natural ability to build commercial relationships both internally and externally at all levels.
- Ability to build a business plan with retail clients – factoring in multiple touchpoints across VM, Marketing and logistics.
- An understanding of ecommerce and drop shipping best practice would be an advantage!
- Entrepreneurial flair.
- A full UK driving licence.
