We are looking for an experienced Stock & Merchandise Planner to join this fast-growth, lifestyle brand.
This is an exciting role for someone to join the team and to lead all facets of buying and merchandising.
The role includes allocations, merchandising, and planning to ensure the correct stock is at the right place at the right time to maximise sales and optimise the flow of stock through the business to various channels.
This role requires someone to be extremely agile and always one step ahead of the wider team!
Up to £65k Basic.
The Role
- Pro-actively manage inventory by channel and customer type ensuring product is in the right place to optimise sales (B2B, B2C, Amazon, core customers, etc.).
- Action transfer of stock between channels in the various virtual warehouses.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of sales by channel, best and worst sellers, new products, etc.
- Monthly planning of replenishment (analyse sales, propose replenishment requirements taking into account min stock requirements, lead times, and stock holdings).
- Use product data analytics to inform replenishment and buying decisions.
- Management of the ATS report.
- Optimise stock turn by highlighting slow selling products and recommending actions to be taken.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing to share product information, propose products for campaigns and promotions, and pro-actively react to sales.
- Manage product & pricing information in systems.
The Person
- Strong retail/ecommerce knowledge and a solid understanding of logistical & operational stock & merchandise management (ideally from an SME).
- Knowledge and experience of working with overseas production channels.
- A logical problem solver with great foresight! You are able to apply different ways of thinking in different situations.
- A proactive team member. You collaborate with the wider Buying and Merchandising teams and work remotely.
- Pacey, positive and flexible. Responsive to business needs.
- All over the numbers. You are analytical and results driven, able to use data to measure performance and identify areas of improvement.
