We\’re working exclusively with a global, social-first marketing agency known for delivering culturally relevant, insight-led campaigns for some of the world\’s most ambitious brands. As the agency continues to grow its Creative & Strategy function, they\’re now looking for an experienced Strategist / Planner to play a key role across new business and long-term client partnerships.The Role Strategy sits at the heart of everything this agency does. In this role, you\’ll lead the development of social-first, insight-driven strategies that solve complex brand and business challenges. You\’ll work closely with Business Development, Accounts and Creative teams to shape enterprise-level RFPs, pitches and retained client strategies.You\’ll be responsible for defining the \”why\” behind the work — turning research, data and cultural insight into clear strategic direction, frameworks and narratives that inspire confidence at a senior client level.Key Responsibilities Lead strategic thinking across enterprise-level RFPs, pitches and new businessDevelop compelling strategic narratives, positioning and frameworksConduct deep consumer, cultural, category and competitor researchTranslate insight into clear communication strategies and social-first ecosystemsDefine objectives, KPIs and success metrics to ensure measurable impactDevelop media plans and campaign architectures for complex retainer engagementsPartner closely with Business Development on pitch strategy and storytellingProvide strategic leadership throughout the creative processEnsure strategic excellence and consistency across all deliverablesStay ahead of social, digital and influencer effectivenessUse tools such as GWI, CreatorIQ and other insight platformsContribute to the evolution of strategic frameworks and best practicesAbout You 4+ years\’ experience in a Strategist, Planner or Strategy roleAgency background preferred (social, influencer or integrated)Experience contributing to enterprise-level RFPs and pitchesStrong understanding of social platforms, influencer marketing and digital ecosystemsConfident presenting strategy to senior stakeholdersCommercially minded, with a clear understanding of how strategy drives growthExcellent written, verbal and storytelling skillsHighly organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreamsOpportunity to shape strategy within a fast-growing global agencyClear progression within a dedicated strategy function25 days annual leaveHybrid working (3 days in office)Annual company trip abroad (subject to performance)Pet-friendly officeFree on-site gymIf you\’re a strategist who thrives at the intersection of culture, insight and commercial thinking — and want to work somewhere strategy genuinely leads — we\’d love to hear from you.
