One of the leading consultancies in the corporate communications space, this company has been around for over 20 years and has built a strong reputation with a client roster that includes many FTSE 250 companies. This is a new role as the agency enters a phase of growth. Your focus will be on unearthing untapped revenue from the current client base, building a new business strategy, driving client development projects, and delivering sustainable growth across their core offerings. Naturally, you will also be expected to generate a pipeline of new business, driving pitch and proposal responses.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in investor engagement, ESG, corporate branding, corporate websites, and brand strategy. You must also have significant experience in agency-side business development and client growth. Central to the success of this role will be your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including client services, strategy, marketing, and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). You will be a valued voice in the SLT and play a vital role in driving the next chapter of growth. Inheriting a team of three people, including business development and marketing, you will also need to demonstrate leadership, mentorship, and coaching abilities.

  • Around 10 years in agency-side business development
  • Experience in harvesting opportunities from existing accounts

  • Experience in key sectors (corporate communications, etc.)

Location & Working Arrangements

The agency is based in E1 and has a hybrid policy: 3 office days and 2 from home.
