Freelance Ecommerce Trading Manager (D2C) – Ongoing Contract. Based East London/Essex — HYBRID.
We’re working with a fast-scaling D2C brand in the health & wellness space, looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Trading Manager to support day-to-day performance across Shopify (UK & EU). This role is a hands-on operator who can own trading, optimise performance, and drive growth — not purely strategic and supports the Head of Ecommerce & Growth Director.
Responsibilities:
- Own daily Shopify operations (site health, UX, apps, troubleshooting)
- Lead trading & merchandising across homepage, collections & promos
- Build & optimise landing pages and on-site content
- Drive CRO, AOV & conversion improvements
- Analyse performance and implement data-led optimisations
- Collaborate across CRM, marketing & dev teams
Qualifications:
- 3+ years managing Shopify D2C stores
- Strong commercial mindset (conversion, AOV, revenue impact)
- Hands-on with apps, subscriptions, and landing page tools
- Proactive, fast-moving, and confident in owning the function
Location & Start:
They are looking for a May start, and you must be able to commute to their office twice a week in East London/Essex.
