I am looking for a top-class B2B Event Manager for this exciting new in-house role. A 360 role – managing a portfolio of new and existing events from concept to design to delivery.
My client is one of the leading and largest independent resellers of production equipment for the Media and Entertainment sectors in Europe. Not just a reseller - they are a trusted business partner and an extension of their customers' and suppliers' teams. With a passionate team of 200 dedicated professionals across six locations, they genuinely care about their customers. Up to £50k basic – 3-4 days based in the office.
The Role
- Developing the global events programme in line with strategic marketing and business development plans.
- Overall project management of events, coordinating internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Planning and managing event logistics end-to-end: dates, venues, exhibition/stand requirements, equipment, kit lists, and target audience profiles.
- Leading onsite delivery, including set-up, breakdown, problem-solving, supplier management, and logistics.
- Preparing event documentation: roadshow proposals, event briefs, briefing packs, risk assessments, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinating event structure and materials, including physical collateral, digital assets, and contributory speakers.
- Driving event promotion and communications in partnership with the marketing team, including social media content, POS, web listings, and graphics briefs.
- Budget management, negotiation and reporting.
- Tracking and reporting success metrics, capturing learnings for future improvement.
The Person
- Ideally at least 4-5 years of B2B event operations/marketing experience, preferably within tech, media, or creative industries (in-house or agency).
- Proven end-to-end project management skills: from ideation and planning through to execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, team alignment, and supplier negotiation, with full budget ownership.
- Help evolve networks, templates, processes, and playbooks for event execution and internal collaboration.
- A proactive mindset, able to push back, reset priorities, and take full accountability for outcomes.
- Collaborate with Marketing Ops and Sales Ops to track performance metrics in HubSpot, including lead generation, pipeline impact, and attendance insights.
- Able to travel extensively across the UK, including overnight stays and some weekends.
- Full UK Driving Licence (required).
