My client is a super hot household name known for pushing boundaries. As they embark on an exciting journey to launch a groundbreaking product, I’m seeking a talented and dynamic Design Director to lead their in-house creative team for a 3-month contract. You'll be on site 3 days a week and the salary is £60k pro rata.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals, user needs, and brand objectives
  • Lead the design team in conceptualizing and creating visually stunning and cohesive designs for the new product
  • Provide creative direction, ensuring all design elements align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent aesthetic
  • Oversee the end-to-end design process, from ideation to execution, while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on designs to meet project requirements
  • Mentor and guide Junior Designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Design Director or similar role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and expertise in product design
  • In-depth knowledge of design principles, trends, and the ability to translate brand vision into visually compelling designs
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to articulate and present design concepts effectively
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.)
  • Flexibility to work on-site in London 3 days a week for the duration of the contract
