Freelance CAD Designer – Events & Experiential (Conferences)

Location: Remote

Duration: 1–4 weeks (starting ASAP)

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Freelance CAD Designer to support our team on a series of high-profile conference and experiential event projects .

This is a short-term freelance role (1–4 weeks), ideal for someone with a strong background in event space planning , technical drawings , and a sharp eye for detail—ready to jump in and contribute immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and detailed 2D CAD drawings for event layouts, including floor plans, elevations, and technical specs
• Interpret creative concepts into clear, build-ready drawings
• Work closely with project managers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure technical accuracy
• Translate design ideas into workable solutions within venue and brand constraints

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
• Experience working on events , exhibitions , or experiential activations—especially conferences
• Excellent understanding of materials, construction methods, and venue logistics
• Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines
• Great communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with large-scale conference formats or global event environments
• Knowledge of venue compliance and health & safety considerations
