Are you an SEO expert with a knack for navigating the complexities of Google Business Profile (GBP) reinstatements and local search optimisation? Profile Suspended is on the hunt for someone like you to lead and shape our SEO strategies, with a focus on helping small businesses recover and thrive in local search.

In this role, you'll be the driving force behind GBP recoveries, boosting local rankings, and tackling technical SEO challenges that elevate our clients' online presence. You will own the SEO process from start to finish, ensuring our clients consistently rank higher on search engines and see measurable results.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and Executing SEO Strategies

Craft and implement data-driven SEO strategies tailored to clients across multiple industries. Perform in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and both on-page and off-page SEO enhancements. Optimise website architecture, metadata, and content to achieve maximum visibility on search engines. Spearhead local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimisation and local citation building.

  • Technical SEO & Website Performance Optimisation

Lead comprehensive website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues (crawlability, indexing, speed, mobile-friendliness). Partner with development teams to ensure the implementation of best SEO practices. Monitor, analyse, and improve Core Web Vitals and overall site performance.

  • Content Strategy & Link Building

Collaborate with content teams to produce high-quality, SEO-friendly content (blogs, service pages, landing pages). Develop and execute advanced link-building campaigns to strengthen domain authority. Oversee outreach efforts to secure high-value backlinks that drive results.

Your Success Will Be Measured By:

  • Resolving GBP suspensions within 30 days and providing documentation to back up the recovery process.
  • Achieving a 20% year-on-year increase in revenue through effective SEO strategies.
  • Delivering consistent, measurable results for clients, making a tangible impact on their business growth.

What We Need From You

Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in local SEO (rankings, citations, GBP optimisation).
  • Strong command of technical SEO principles, including site speed, crawlability, structured data, and mobile optimisation.
  • A portfolio showcasing clear before-and-after results, including GBP ranking improvements and organic traffic growth (via Google Analytics).
