Juliette Lister and Lisa Tremlett are currently assisting a third party pensions company who are recruiting for both Implementation Analysts (contract and permanent) and DB Product Owners (£60K).

To provide project, technical and release support for the DB administration platform and related applications used primarily by the Pensions Administration Services department.

  • To liaise with users to understand their needs, preferences and challenges for supported applications.
  • To liaise with internal teams and external parties to ensure that all development requirements and acceptance criteria are captured to enable application development and quality assurance.
  • To support the DB Product Manager in maintaining a release schedule for all supported applications.
  • To plan release contents, ensuring high priority/high impact work items are addressed in a timely manner.
  • To support the DB Product Manager in estimating the delivery timeline for a release, reflecting all stages of the development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, Quality Assurance testing, User Acceptance testing (UAT), pre-deployment tasks and live deployment.

ESSENTIAL:

  • 5+ years' experience in the Pension Administration industry and/or as a Business Analyst, junior Product Owner, Product Analyst or similar.
  • Strong analytical or problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with (or the ability to demonstrate understanding of) the software development lifecycle.

IMPLEMENTATION ANALYST (£50-55K) - PERMANENT

IMPLEMENTATION ANALYST (£50-55K) - 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT

To lead all aspects of data analysis and calculation activity across new business and internal transfer activity, supporting the delivery of the implementation portfolio across the business.

  • To define and implement data audit and analysis protocols which improve quality and effectiveness of transfer activity.
  • To lead the definition, creation and analysis of complex pension calculations which ensure effective member outcomes on transfer of activity.
  • To oversee the production of system automation, liaising with IT and Administration functions to build, run and review test scenarios during the implementation phase.

ESSENTIAL:

  • Strong/Broad experience of occupational pension schemes, including administration.
  • Experience of managing the definition and build of complex pensions calculations.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of DB/DC arrangements.
  • Experience of the implementation of pension arrangements, including bulk transfers of DB and DC.
  • Experience of providing assistance to others in the management of projects and change.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and manage change effectively.
