We are a specialist private healthcare clinic, providing surgical and aesthetic treatments. Our ethos is holistic, safe, personalised care, delivered by Prescribers with Independent Prescribing to join our clinical team on regenerative treatments within a luxury clinical environment. Working alongside Consultant Plastic Surgeons, you will provide safe, evidence-based, and results-driven non-surgical treatments while maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance, patient care, and professionalism. This role requires clinical expertise, prescribing authority, effective communication and people skills alongside a friendly, warm demeanour.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person, comprehensive clinical assessments/consultations to design effective personalised treatment plans with patients.
- Prescribe medicines independently in accordance with NMC guidelines and V300 qualification.
- Operate multiple laser platforms aimed at treating pigmentation, vascular lesions, acne, scarring, hair removal, rosacea, and skin rejuvenation.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records.
- Provide advice, aftercare and complication management.
- Deliver exceptional patient experience by understanding individual patient needs, explaining treatments, and providing tailored, holistic recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships ensuring trust, satisfaction and loyalty while supporting clinic growth.
- Ensure patients are fully informed throughout consultation, procedures and beyond to aftercare and review.
- Promote informed consent, safety, risks and benefits to ensure realistic expectations.
Governance and Safety
- Adhere to Healthcare Improvement Scotland and NMC standards, working within your scope and competencies.
- Follow clinic Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
Team Integration
- Work collaboratively within the Aesthetic Nursing and wider clinic team.
What we’re looking for
Qualifications & Registration
- NMC Registered Nurse (Adult), holding valid PIN.
- Independent Prescriber with V300 qualification.
- Recognised aesthetic qualification, MSc/postgraduate aesthetics qualification is desirable.
- Laser safety certification.
- Evidence of ongoing CPD.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years post-registration.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge in a wide range of treatments.
- Confident using online booking system and patient record software.
- Private healthcare/luxury clinic experience would be beneficial.
Skills & Attributes
- Great communication and people skills with a patient-centred ethos.
- Complication management.
This is an independent contractor position under practising privileges, working in-person with flexible hours in a central location. It would be preferable, but not essential, for you to have an existing client base. We offer flexible hours with generous commission. Working in a modern clinical environment with the latest technologies. Admin support, small friendly team, free parking and treatment discounts are all part of the package.
