Job: They are seeking a skilled SQL Database Specialist to design, implement, maintain, and optimize SQL databases for performance, security, and reliability. Responsibilities:
- Database Design and Implementation: Develop database schemas, tables, views, and indexes to support application requirements.
- Query Development and Optimization: Create and enhance complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for efficient data manipulation.
- Database Maintenance: Perform backups, indexing, and performance tuning to ensure optimal database functionality.

- Capacity Planning: Monitor storage usage and plan database scaling for future growth.
- Training and Support: Share knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders.
- Cloud Database Management: Manage and optimize solutions like SQL Azure and Azure Managed Instance.
- Automation: Use scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
- Standards and Best Practices: Develop and enforce database standards and industry best practices.
- Database Migration: Plan and execute database migration projects with minimal downtime.
- Report Database: Create a separate report database to remove overhead on production DB.
