As a SEO Manager, you will directly manage a wide range of SEO campaigns across multiple industries. You will stay up to date with the latest trends and updates in the industry, both in terms of on-site and off-site factors. You will be the main point of contact for your clients, hands-on with strategising the campaign to reach their clients' goals, implementing basic technical SEO with support from their development team, and working closely with their content and offsite teams to strategise and deliver monthly work.
You will also be responsible for developing, refining and implementing the growth strategy for SEO as well as crafting bespoke campaigns for their clients. They will expect you to share best practices regularly, spot opportunities for clients to grow their online visibility and conversions, maintain regular close communication with your clients, and take responsibility for the success of campaign strategies.
Duties include:
- Maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring they are kept up to date on changes and progress within their campaign whilst dealing with any queries that arise.
- Monitor and understand clients' markets and their environments, having views on market issues and being up to date with competitive activity.
- Identify opportunities on and off site to improve performance in organic search results.
- Stay up to date with industry developments to anticipate and prepare clients for these changes.
- Implement basic technical SEO work and improve your technical skillset with support from their development team.
- Utilise industry-leading tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics (incl. GA4), Ahrefs, Content King, Screaming Frog and more.
- Remain organised, responsive to client and internal needs, and able to remain motivated in a remote setting.
You will have:
- A strong technical background and be hands-on in the implementation of advanced technical SEO directly on client sites.
- The ability to effectively audit a website, conduct keyword research/mapping, conduct analytics audits, set up tracking using UA/GA4/GTM, and form strategies around content, offsite and technical SEO.
- Experience working with a range of CMS platforms including Wordpress, Magento (1 & 2), Shopify, Django, Joomla, Wix, and custom platforms.
- Ownership of client SEO performance and proving ROI.
- Experience in account managing brands across multiple industries.
Skills required:
- Minimum 3-year experience in SEO and providing clients with comprehensive SEO consultation and execution services.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Expert knowledge of SEO strategies and best practices including technical, outreach and content marketing.
