Role
They are recruiting a Business Development Executive to help drive their next phase of growth.
This is an opportunity to build a career in technology sales. Working with their experienced sales and partnerships team, you will introduce their platform to new charitable organisations, identify fundraising opportunities and secure qualified introductory meetings and product demonstrations.
This is a proactive outbound sales role. You will research prospective clients, initiate conversations, uncover needs and create opportunities. Previous SaaS experience is welcome but not essential: they value ambition, communication skills and potential.
Responsibilities
Research and identify prospective charity clients, fundraising teams and event organisers.
Engage prospects through calls, personalised emails, LinkedIn and other appropriate channels.
Identify organisations running fundraising events, auctions, raffles, sporting challenges and individual giving campaigns.
Build relationships with fundraising directors, event managers and other decisionmakers.
Use structured sales qualification methodologies, such as MEDDPICC, to assess opportunities effectively and prioritise high-quality leads.
Generate and book high-quality introductory meetings and product demonstrations that convert into genuine sales opportunities.
Take ownership of prospecting and qualified-meeting targets.
Keep contact, activity and opportunity records accurate in HubSpot.
Manage follow-ups and contribute ideas to improve campaigns and conversion.
Develop expertise in their platform, charity fundraising and consultative sales through coaching and training.
Keep up to date with the latest competitor trends and product knowledge.

Experience in SaaS, technology, business development, telesales or outbound prospecting.
Experience in recruitment, hospitality, events, charity fundraising or other relationship-led roles.
Familiarity with HubSpot or another CRM.
What they offer
To £32k basic salary, plus uncapped commission, with on-target earnings of approx. £45k.
