The Department of Psychology, within the Institute of Population Health, is seeking to recruit individuals to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Applicants with expertise in forensic psychology and/or social psychology and/or health psychology (with a lifespan focus) teaching are particularly encouraged to apply.
You will have experience contributing to programmes delivered at all levels, including masters. You should have demonstrated skills in the delivery of modules and be able to work independently to deliver agreed plans and priorities. You should be conversant with external regulatory and professional accreditation processes, as well as more local quality assurance processes. Relevant scholarly or pedagogical research outputs of a national standing should also be in evidence. You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline.
The successful applicants will also be expected to acquire an appropriate teaching qualification if this has not already been obtained. The posts are available on a teaching and scholarship career pathway at Grade 8 on a permanent basis. Although the university has a hybrid working system, the expectation is that the successful applicant appointed to this role will be expected to work more than 60% on campus.
