Full time. Your required hours of work are 40 hours per week. The business operations are Mon-Thurs, 9am - 9pm and Fri - Sun, 9am - 6pm. Start Date: September 2026.

The Role

As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging teaching across undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) business programmes. You will support students both on campus, contribute to assessment and quality assurance processes, and actively engage in scholarship and continuous curriculum enhancement to ensure an excellent learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards
  • Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms
  • Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams
  • Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs
  • Engage with quality assurance processes, contribute to module and programme evaluations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Lead modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable

Essential

  • A Master's degree in a relevant business-related field
  • Experience teaching in Higher Education, with strong digital teaching capability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes
  • A flexible, student‑focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (if not already held)

Desirable

  • PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience
  • Research or enterprise activity involvement
  • Teaching qualification (FHEA, SHEA, PGCAP, AHEA)
  • Experience leading modules or academic teams

Working Hours & Flexibility

40 hours per week (schedule may include evenings and weekends). Must be flexible to travel to all our campus locations.
