We are seeking a motivated, creative and ambitious leader to take public health at Salford University forward, building on our existing strengths while developing new areas of business to meet the future demands of a rapidly evolving health and social landscape. You’ll need to be a forward thinking, innovative and compassionate leader, ready to embrace new challenges, support your colleagues, and champion the exciting changes underway in public health education at the University.
You will work across the School and wider University, collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including NHS, local authority and independent sector partners to drive enterprise and engagement in public health, and help us fully realise the potential of our new Thrive building in contributing to reducing health inequalities within our communities.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou’ll have experience working in Higher Education and a dedication to creating the best possible student experience through strong partnerships, excellent teaching and inclusive learning practice, and a commitment to fostering belonging and student success. As an academic leader, you will also contribute to the growing research profile of public health and the School of Health.
