This is a hands-on role focused on the day-to-day management and optimisation of our paid media activity across Meta and Google, helping drive customer acquisition, event participation and revenue across the T100 and wider PTO portfolio.
Working closely with our Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll take increasing ownership of our paid media accounts, using performance data to optimise campaigns, test new approaches and improve the efficiency of our marketing spend.
As we continue to build our capability in-house, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our customers and contribute to how we evolve our acquisition and lifecycle marketing strategy.
Reporting to our Performance Marketing Manager, this role is based at our London HQ.
- Key Role Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day setup, delivery and optimisation of paid campaigns across Meta and Google Ads.
- Monitor campaign performance across spend, CPA, ROAS, revenue, New Customer performance, conversions, and other key commercial metrics.
- Analyse performance data, identify opportunities and translate insights into clear optimisation actions.
- Manage campaign budgets and pacing, ensuring spend is deployed effectively against commercial targets.
- Support campaign planning and launches across the PTO’s growing portfolio of events and products.
- Test and optimise audiences, creative, messaging and campaign structures to improve acquisition and conversion.
- Work with internal creative and content teams to develop campaign briefs, assets and compelling ad copy.
- Produce clear and regular performance reporting, highlighting results, trends, learnings and recommended actions.
- Support tracking, measurement and attribution across paid media activity, working with relevant teams to improve data quality and visibility.
- Work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager to continuously improve acquisition funnels and, over time, support broader customer lifecycle, retention and lifetime value initiatives.
- Who We’re Looking For
- 2-4 years’ experience in paid media, performance marketing or a similar digital acquisition role, with hands-on experience managing campaigns across Meta Ads and/or Google Ads.
- Experience across both Meta and Google Ads.
- Comfortable working with performance data and metrics such as CPA, ROAS, conversion and revenue, with the ability to turn data into clear actions.
- Strong working knowledge of paid media principles and confidence managing and optimising campaigns independently.
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of how paid media contributes to customer acquisition and revenue growth.
- Experience managing campaign budgets and balancing spend against performance.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, launches and priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive and hands‑on, with the confidence to take ownership, test ideas and continuously look for ways to improve performance.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across creative, content and wider marketing teams.
- Experience within sports, events, ticketing, travel or another consumer‑focused business would be beneficial.
- Experience with creative testing, copywriting, GA4, Looker Studio, Triple Whale, utilising AI software, lead generation or advertising tracking and implementation would be advantageous.
- The opportunity to change the sport of triathlon and build something you can be really proud of.
- Flat working environment and a get‑things‑done company culture.
- Private health insurance through Vitality, including wellness benefits and more.
- 25 days holiday + Christmas break.
- Flexible Working Structure.
- Enhanced parental leave.
- Company share option scheme to drive ownership ability and allow financial participation in company success.
