As the PTO scales its commercial division, we are seeking a Sales Strategy Executive to support our commercial team by owning deck creation, proposal development, and partnership storytelling through data and insights. This is an integral part of working with our sales team to bring brand briefs to life and support the sales process from concept to close. This role reports directly to our Commercial Strategy Manager.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Deck Creation & Commercial Storytelling: Build high-quality, client-ready sales decks and partnership presentations from internal briefs. Develop persuasive commercial narratives that go beyond feature-listing – connecting our proposition to client goals and market context. Turn rough ideas, bullet points, and scribbled notes into polished materials that represent the team at its very best.
  • Insights, research & lead nurturing: Proactively support the sales team with data-driven outreach, surfacing the right insight, at the right time, to nudge a prospect along the pipeline. Use a range of data sources to build compelling commercial stories that make our approach feel bespoke, relevant, and timely. Identify creative “nudge” moments; news hooks, category trends, competitor moves, that give the sales team a reason to reach out with something worth saying.
  • Partnership Development & Commercial Thinking: Help shape partnership concepts that increase yield beyond standard media asset packages, thinking creatively about how brands can show up in more valuable ways. Contribute ideas during briefing and proposal stages, bringing a commercial and creative perspective to every opportunity.
  • AI & Operational Excellence: Use AI tools intelligently to accelerate research, drafting, formatting, and workflow, helping the team move faster without sacrificing quality. Act as the operational backbone of the sales process: organised, reliable, and always one step ahead of what’s needed next. Continuously look for ways to improve how we work, such as creating templates, processes, tools.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 1-2 years in a sales support, partnerships, commercial strategy, account support, or proposal development role.
  • Proven track record producing decks, pitch materials, or sponsorship proposals in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working with data sets and turning outputs into compelling commercial stories.
  • Comfortable with quick turnarounds and comfortable operating without a detailed brief.
  • Outstanding storytelling and presentation-building ability.
  • A creative thinker with a sharp commercial instinct.
  • Strong written communication, clear, concise, and compelling across decks, emails, and proposals.
  • High proficiency with AI tools and a genuine enthusiasm for using them in your daily workflow.
  • Comfortable with data, be able to pull from multiple sources and translate numbers into a narrative that moves people.
  • Fast, independent, and organised, you thrive with autonomy.

The opportunity to change the sport of triathlon and build something you can be really proud of. Flat working environment and a get-things-done company culture. Private health insurance through Vitality, including wellness benefits and more. 25 days holiday + Christmas break. Flexible Working Structure. Enhanced parental leave.
