Overview

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Educator apprentice to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This role involves supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing environment. Duties

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging educational activities tailored to children\'s developmental needs
  • Support children\'s daily routines, including mealtimes, naps, and playtime

  • Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among children
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in line with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to monitor children\'s progress and share observations
  • Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children\'s activities and well-being
  • Support the management team in implementing nursery policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance childcare skills and knowledge

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Demonstrated management or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team activities
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
