This advanced apprenticeship is designed for individuals ready to progress in their early years career, combining practical experience with leadership development and a deeper understanding of child development — all while earning and learning in the workplace.

About Little Scholars Nursery:

Your Role as a Level 4 Early Years Educator Apprentice:

• Planning, leading, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff or Level 2/3 apprentices, where appropriate.
• Acting as a key person for a group of children, including observations, assessments, and next steps.
• Contributing to learning journals and monitoring children’s progress and development.
• Supporting inclusive practice and adapting provision to meet individual learning needs.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Ensuring safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Building strong professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Supporting daily routines, transitions, and the effective running of the nursery.

You will be encouraged to reflect on practice, share ideas, and contribute to continuous improvement across the setting.
