Your Role as a Level 4 Early Years Educator Apprentice:

  • Planning, leading, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff or Level 2/3 apprentices, where appropriate.
  • Acting as a key person for a group of children, including observations, assessments, and next steps.
  • Contributing to learning journals and monitoring children’s progress and development.
  • Supporting inclusive practice and adapting provision to meet individual learning needs.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Ensuring safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
