Key Responsibilities
- As a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will:
- Support children aged 0–5 through daily routines in a structured nursery environment.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities that support children’s development across the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
- Carry out observations and assessments, helping to track each child’s progress and development.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to children’s learning journeys.
- Promote a safe and secure environment by following safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Support with mealtimes, hygiene routines, and personal care, promoting independence.
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff to uphold high standards of care and education.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents/carers to support each child’s individual needs.
Training and Qualification Details
- You will work toward achieving the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification through Professional Training Solutions.
- Training includes a blend of on-the-job experience, dedicated study time, and online learning.
- A dedicated tutor and a workplace mentor will guide and support your development throughout the programme.
- If you do not already hold Level 2 English and Maths, you may be required to complete Functional Skills qualifications during the apprenticeship.
