What You Will Do:

  • Client Acquisition: Proactively contacting care homes, NHS Trusts, private medical facilities, and potential service users to introduce the agency's healthcare staffing or care services.
  • Relationship Building: Following up on leads, generating new business inquiries, and converting cold prospects into active clients.
  • Booking Consultations: Pitching services over the telephone and arranging face-to-face meetings or site visits for the agency’s management or recruitment team.
  • Making outbound calls (cold calling) to introduce the agency's services to potential clients, healthcare professionals, and local organisations.
  • Following up enquiries, building relationships with prospective clients, and helping to arrange appointments if a potential client needs one.
  • Generating and qualifying new leads, identifying opportunities for business growth, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Following up enquiries, arranging meetings or care assessments, and guiding prospective clients through the onboarding process.
  • Closing leads by converting enquiries into new clients and building long-term relationships that support the agency's growth.
  • Working towards agreed targets for lead generation, client acquisition, and business development activities.
  • Maintaining accurate records of calls, leads, and client information using the agency's CRM and administrative systems.

At the end of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will have gained a nationally recognised qualification, practical workplace experience, and the skills required to progress into roles such as Business Development Executive, Healthcare Administrator, Client Relationship Coordinator, or Recruitment and Sales Consultant within the healthcare sector.
