The company is a specialist engineering consultancy providing innovative solutions across the UK water sector. They deliver integrated hydraulic modelling, MEICA and civil engineering design services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Their senior-led team supports Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors with practical, buildable and value-engineered solutions.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Project Design Engineers, Mechanical Project Designers, Electrical Project Designers and Civil Project Designers to support the delivery of water and wastewater projects across the UK. These are opportunities operating outside IR35, suitable for professionals who can lead multidisciplinary design packages from concept through detailed design.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and coordination of multidisciplinary design solutions.
- Manage project design deliverables, programmes and technical quality.
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, ICA or Civil design disciplines.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, client specifications and CDM requirements.
- Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and value engineering exercises.
- Support technical assurance and governance processes.
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline.
- Proven experience delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of MEICA and/or Civil design interfaces.
- Experience working within AMP programmes and UK utility frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder and project coordination skills.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership desirable.
Contract Details: Circa to £450 per day + Outside IR35. Will consider anywhere in mainland UK. Immediate starts available.
Essential Eligibility: Applicants must have full proof of Right to Work in the UK. Ability to work independently as a contractor.
