This established and growing independent lift company are currently seeking an experienced Lift Service & Call Out Engineer to support them in the servicing, maintenance and minor repair of lift equipment across the St Albans and surrounding areas.
As a Lift Service & Call Out Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Managing your own designated service route covering the St Albans area
- Carrying out planned servicing, maintenance and minor repairs on a range of lift equipment
- Applying your knowledge as a Lift Engineer in fault-finding situations
- Attending lift breakdowns and responding to customer call outs
- Participating in the call out rota
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A background in lift engineering, ideally within service and call out
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (essential)
- Experience working on a variety of lift products
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A full UK driving licence
