A global manufacturer has an exciting new opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their site in the Wrexham area. The position has been made available due to the current Continuous Improvement Manager retiring from the business in November. Ideally, they would like a transition period with the current manager prior to him leaving the business. This really is a rare opportunity to work for a leading brand that provides their products to some of the leading names in the industry. You will have full autonomy in the implementation and development of systems and processes.

They are offering a highly competitive salary, circa £55k to £60k with an additional 12.5% bonus, 10% employer contribution pension, healthcare for all the family, and a life-cover plan.

Summary for the Continuous Improvement Manager:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead and create an environment for a Continuous Improvement culture on site. Identify opportunities, lead, and manage all aspects of CI across the engineering and production functions to deliver improved results and sustainability.

Responsibilities of the Continuous Improvement Manager:
  • Implementation and development of their in-house production system
  • Responsible for full implementation and use of Continuous Improvement tools to improve the plant performance. This includes Lean, 6S, SMED, TPM, VSM and SPC.
