A leader in life sciences is looking to recruit a System Controls Design Engineer to lead the design, modelling, and optimisation of next-generation ultra-low-temperature refrigeration systems. As System Controls Design Engineer, responsibilities will include:

  • Refrigeration system design - Develop ultra-low-temperature refrigeration systems and define system architecture with cross-functional teams.
  • Modelling & simulation - Build, simulate, and validate high-fidelity system models to guide design decisions.
  • Performance optimisation - Analyse system data, refine thermodynamic efficiency, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Documentation & compliance - Produce technical specifications and ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and manufacturing requirements.

Key skills needed for the System Controls Design Engineer:
