The business is a highly recognised name in the renewable energy industry. Due to continued growth and new projects, they have a new requirement for a contract Harness Builder or Panel Wirer to join the business initially on a 6-month contract.
Responsibilities of the Harness Builder or Panel Wirer:
- Build wiring harnesses in a production environment
- Follow process control documents and codes of practice
- Visually and electrically inspect and test wiring harnesses at all stages
- Reading Electrical Schematics from Working Tables
- Build prototype harnesses as required
Requirements of the Harness Builder or Panel Wirer:
- City and Guilds in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Background in working for a business that produces small components (Electronics manufacturing business would be beneficial but not essential)
- Experienced in the field of wiring harnesses or panel wiring
- Proficient in interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring harnesses assembly drawings
- Health & Safety procedures must be always adhered to
Rates and additional information:
- £20 to £25 pounds per hour - Umbrella
