Service Engineer – Forklifts
A leading National Material Handling company has a newly created opportunity for an experienced Service Engineer.
The business has been established for over 40 years and is today one of the most recognised names in the industry. They have gone through significant expansion and now have over 14 depots throughout the UK. The business is experiencing a huge amount of growth and are continuing to expand in Nottingham. This business prides itself on having a friendly, supportive culture with opportunities for training and progression. They offer an attractive salary package, Circa to £34k to £44k, which includes, standard 40-hour week with overtime paid at time and a half, fully expensed Van (includes some personal usage)
Responsibilities of the Service Engineer
- Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager.
- Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, \’can-do\’ attitude.
- Completing a report for each job on a PDA system.
- Driving to client locations
Requirements of the Service Engineer
- NVQ Level 2 in Plant, Maintenance or Vehicle – Preferably Apprentice trained
- Experienced working on Forklift Trucks
- Full UK Driving License
- Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure.
- Present a professional image
- Good team player.
