The company is an established business in the Material Handling industry. Due to further expansion, they now have a newly created opportunity for a Service Engineer to join the team in the Wakefield area. You will work with a friendly team and utilize some interesting equipment. In return, they offer a beautiful salary package with company benefits which include:

The Service Engineer will be able to swiftly and expertly diagnose and conduct the repair or service in a knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner, to the highest standard. They currently have a large customer base, which includes a high amount of electrical equipment, so any previous electrical knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential.
Responsibilities of the Service Engineer:
- Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager
- Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, 'can-do' attitude
- Completing a report for each job on a PDA system
Requirements of the role:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plant, Maintenance or Vehicle - Preferably Apprentice trained
- Experienced Service Engineer in the MHE Industry preferred, but Vehicle Technicians, HGV Technicians, Roadside Recovery, Agricultural and Plant are all considered
- Electrical Bias will give candidates a distinct advantage
- Full UK Driving License
- Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure
- Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite
- Good team player
In return, the Service Engineer will be offered the following package:
- £45k-£50k OTE
- Contracted 40-hour week, all overtime paid at time and a half
