One of the UK\’s most reputable and rapidly growing industrial door manufacturers is seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer to join their expanding team, covering the Edinburgh and Glasgow areas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company with a strong reputation for quality and service, working with some of the biggest names in logistics and distribution. You\’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of industrial door and loading bay systems. As an Experienced Industrial Door Engineer you\’ll be responsible for: Carrying out planned servicing, repairs and reactive maintenance on industrial doors and associated loading bay equipment. Diagnosing faults and recommending further remedial work where needed. Working with products including roller shutters, sectional overhead doors, rapid roll doors, dock levellers, dock shelters, barriers, and automated gates. Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally on-site. Participating in a 1-in-5 weekly call-out rota for emergency support.To be an successful Industrial Door Engineer you must have: Proven experience with industrial doors and loading bay equipment. Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or welding systems. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. A proactive attitude with the ability to recommend additional work to clients.
