Do you currently work within the Gate & Barrier or Security Fencing industry and have a passion for Field Service Engineering? A leading supplier has a newly created Gate & Barrier opportunity for someone with a background within their industry. You will be covering the North East of England. The company offer a full training and development program, where you will be buddied up with another member of the team and learn how things are done. On offer is an impressive basic salary of upto 39,000, earning 54,00 in your first year, a modern fully racked company van, PDA & mobile phone is on offer with overtime paid after you\’re standard 40-hour week. You\’ll get full D2D payment, Company Pension Scheme, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays, No Callouts and much more.

Responsibilities of an Gate & Barrier Engineer.

You\’ll be reporting to the Service Manager and be expected to be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of security gates and barriers, Each day you\’ll be working with an assortment of equipment produced by the company in their factory. You will be expected to manage your own work in progress, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company\’s fantastic reputation and future growth.

Requirements of a successful Gate & Barrier Engineer

Installation, service & maintenance of automatic gate systems.
Installation of access control entry systems such as intercoms and various card readers.
Spotting sales opportunities.
Electrical and mechanical Engineering fault finding
Following FAAC, CAME, BFT training.

Salary and Benefits for an Gate & Barrier Engineer:

Attractive starting basic salary package of up to 45k+ in your first year
Overtime paid at time and a half over a 40 hour week
Paid from when you leave home to when you return home
On-call support every 5th week paid at x1.5 rate
