Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer:

  • You will be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites within your postcode area.
  • You will be working with an assortment of equipment including electric trucks.
  • Managing your own work in progress, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment.
  • Be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation.
  • You will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites.

Requirements of the Field Service Engineer:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential - Certificates will be required.
  • Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Roadside Recovery all considered.
  • Technical experience in Engines, Electrics (Diagnostics) and/or hydraulics.

Salary and Benefits for the Field Service Engineer:

  • OTE circa £45k in your first year.
  • Door-to-Door covering a patch that sits within your postcode area.
  • X1.5 overtime rates.
  • 40 hr week, Monday to Friday.
