A leading force in the F1 motorsport industry is seeking a Contract Design Engineer to join their exceptionally talented team to work on a variety of exciting projects. Based onsite in Milton Keynes, and work with a team of successful F1 vehicle designers. As a Design Engineer You Will Be Responsible For Generation of 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using Siemens NX. Work closely with Aerodynamicists, structural engineers and other departments to achieve the highest level of design performance and reliability Management of component lifecycle designs and systems Collaborate with internal and external departments to ensure that the designs are fully integrated To Be a Successful Design Engineer You Will Have Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc in either composite, mechanical, aeronautical or equivalent (minimum 2.1) Experienced user of UG NX A strong understanding and skill with composite design and manufacturing techniques Experience with FEA and hand calculations is desirable Experience within F1 high performance automotive Excellent communication skills are working within tight knit teams As a Design Engineer, You Will Receive Upto £50 per hour (negotiable depending on experience) 5-day payment terms Inside IR35
