I'm working with a nationally recognised Approved Inspector who are growing their technical team. They're looking for a Building Control Surveyor to take ownership of residential projects - typically up to 11 metres in height - working closely with clients from plan check to final certification.

What you'll be doing:
- Reviewing residential development plans for Building Regulation compliance
- Conducting site inspections and maintaining detailed records
- Issuing initial notices, certificates, and final sign-off
- Managing defect resolution and ensuring all regulatory obligations are met
- Supporting assistant and trainee surveyors as a mentor
- Contributing to consistent service delivery and strong client relationships
What you'll need:
- BSR Registered Building Inspector - Level 2 (essential)
- Chartered membership with RICS, CABE, or CIOB
- Proven experience in plan appraisal and site inspection (ideally residential)
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- A solid understanding of Building Regs, QA systems, and inspection standards
