We’re looking for confident, people-focused and qualified Level 2 Spectator Safety Stewards to join our growing matchday team at one of Yorkshire’s most iconic venues – Elland Road, Leeds. This is live, upcoming work, so we’re specifically looking for applicants who already hold a Level 2 Spectator Safety qualification and can get started quickly.
The Role
As a Spectator Safety Steward, you’re not just “on shift” – you’re part of the matchday magic. From roaring crowds to headline events, you’ll be right at the heart of it, helping to create a safe, welcoming and unforgettable experience for everyone in attendance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a warm, professional welcome to spectators
- Delivering excellent customer service throughout events
- Supporting safe entry, exit and movement around the stadium
- Monitoring crowd behaviour and reporting concerns
- Responding to incidents and following stadium safety procedures
- Working closely with your team to maintain a safe environment
What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for local stewards who already have the right qualification and want consistent work in Leeds. You must:
- Hold a Level 2 Spectator Safety qualification
- Live in West Yorkshire (Leeds and surrounding areas)
- Be friendly, approachable and confident with the public
- Be reliable, punctual and a strong team player
- Be available for evenings, weekends and event days
- Hold a valid, non-expired SIA licence
- Have the right to work in the UK
