About the Role

As a Door Supervisor in Blackpool, you’re not “just on the door”. You’re the face of safety, the first point of contact, and a key part of creating a great experience for customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a visible and approachable presence at the venue entrance and throughout the premises
  • Engaging positively with customers while supporting venue staff
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct that reflects both the venue and Professional Security brand
  • Working closely with venue management to ensure smooth operations during busy trading periods
  • Identifying and addressing potential issues early to prevent escalation
  • Enforcing venue policies including age verification, dress codes, and intoxication policies
  • Managing incidents calmly and professionally while prioritising customer safety
  • Completing incident reports and documentation when required
  • Supporting emergency procedures and assisting with safe venue evacuations if necessary

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
  • Ability to pass BS7858 security vetting
  • Previous experience in security, hospitality, or crowd management

  • Strong teamwork and reliability
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and late-night shifts
  • Reliable transport to and from venues in Blackpool and surrounding areas
