PPM Recruitment is currently recruiting for
10 experienced Head Chefs to join a busy catering operation in Stafford.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs with strong kitchen management skills who can lead a team, maintain high food standards and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of a professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and served to a high standard.
- Lead, supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of meals, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
- Manage stock levels, food ordering and portion control.
- Monitor food costs and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served within required timeframes.
- Support the training and development of kitchen team members.
- Follow all site procedures and catering standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or in a senior chef position.
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy catering environment.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- A reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
