About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and dedicated

Chef (Grade N2) to join our fast-paced Catering Operations team on a 6-month temporary basis starting asap.

In this role, you will support high-volume food preparation and catering service, ensuring high standards of culinary quality, food safety, and hygiene across all daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality dishes in line with set menus and nutritional guidelines.

Assist in managing kitchen operations during the 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM shift, ensuring timely meal delivery for daily services.

Maintain strict standards of kitchen cleanliness, food hygiene (HACCP), and health and safety regulations.

Support stock rotation, portion control, and waste minimization procedures.

Work collaboratively with the wider catering team to deliver exceptional service to clients, staff, and visitors.

Shift Pattern & Working Hours

Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time)

Shift Times: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Includes 1-hour unpaid break per shift)

Schedule: Rotational pattern across the week (including weekend cover where required)

About You

Experience: Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen, high-volume catering, or hospitality environment.

Qualifications: Relevant Culinary Arts / Professional Cookery qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) and an up-to-date

Skills: Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene protocols, allergen awareness, and high-volume meal preparation.

Attributes: Excellent team player, reliable, calm under pressure, and organized with strong time-management skills.
