An established and successful building services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced

Mechanical Site Manager to support the continued growth and development of its mechanical division.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and ambitious mechanical professional to take a key role in delivering projects while helping develop and expand the company's mechanical operations.

The company delivers mechanical building services projects across a diverse range of sectors, including

distribution centres, healthcare, retail, education, offices, MOD, universities and commercial developments.

The Role

As Mechanical Site Manager, you will work closely with the management team, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical installations and supporting the wider growth of the division.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing mechanical installations from commencement through to completion.
  • Coordinating mechanical works with other trades, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Managing site teams and supporting supervisors to deliver work packages.
  • Monitoring programme, progress and quality.
  • Providing regular updates to project and senior management.
  • Identifying project risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company standards.
  • Supporting the continued development and growth of the mechanical division.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager or similar.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services installation.
  • Experience working for a building services contractor or M&E contractor.
  • Relevant mechanical qualifications or strong industry experience.
  • Valid CSCS and SMSTS certification.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach.
  • The ambition to contribute to the growth of an expanding mechanical division.
