The predicted salary is between 15 - 20 £ per hour.
A Plumber is required for a static healthcare maintenance role in Glasgow (G21), supporting critical building services within a busy NHS environment.
Pay Rate: £18.12 - £19.89 per hour (depending on experience)
On-Call Requirement: 1 week in 6 on-call rota providing 24/7 cover (Rowanbank Clinic & Stobhill Hospital). Additional payment provided for on-call duties.
Duties:
- Participate in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
- Respond to emergency tasks within SLA times to avoid service failures
- Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements for Permit-to-Work
- Undertake overtime for installations, improvements and OOH emergency repairs
- Carry out mechanical maintenance and small works including:
- AHU maintenance
- Calorifiers and heat stations
- Water systems and Legionella control
- Medical gas systems
- Pressure systems
Requirements:
- Recognised plumbing apprenticeship (essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical/building services maintenance
- Hospital experience desirable but not essential
- Competent working on relevant building service systems
- Strong technical knowledge and safe working practices
- First Aid (CPR) desirable - training can be provided
- Knowledge of SHTM, BSRIA, L8 and Pressure Systems Regulations desirable
- Experience working under Permit-to-Work systems
- PVG Disclosure Scotland - Essential
