PGA Assistant Professional

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PGA Assistant Professional to join the team at Rushmore Golf Club as we bring our Professional Shop and Golf Operations in-house from January 2027.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and ambitious individual to work alongside our newly appointed Head PGA Professional, helping to deliver an exceptional golfing experience for our members and visitors.
Ideally, applicants will be fully PGA qualified, although we would very much welcome applications from individuals currently progressing through their PGA qualification who demonstrate the right attitude, enthusiasm and potential.
The position offers a varied role combining Professional Shop responsibilities with the opportunity to establish and develop a successful coaching business.
With plans to further develop our driving range facilities, retail offering and coaching programmes, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of an evolving golf operation and contribute to its future success.
The role will involve:
- Delivering excellent service to members, visitors and society golfers.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Professional Shop.
- Developing individual and group coaching opportunities.
- Contributing to junior golf and player development.
- Supporting equipment sales, custom fitting and retail activities.
- Working closely with the Head PGA Professional to develop the Club’s golfing services.
