About the RoleOur client is looking for a reliable and experienced Site Foreman to join their team on a large-scale power plant project in Friston. This is a long-term contract position and a great opportunity to play a key role in day-to-day site operations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience overseeing site activities, managing trades and labour, and taking responsibility for site security, including locking up the site at the end of each day.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily site operations and workforce
Coordinate trades and subcontractors to meet project timelines
Ensure health & safety compliance at all times
Conduct site inductions and maintain daily site records
Be responsible for site opening and locking up procedures
Liaise with project managers and report on progress
Monitor quality of works and ensure tasks are completed to spec
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar role
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Good knowledge of health & safety on construction sites
CSCS card required
SMSTS certification
Must be reliable and responsible – especially regarding site lock‐up duties
