This is a 4–5 month contract role, ideal for a reliable engineer with strong site experience who can hit the ground running.\\n\\nEquipment is not required — all setting-out equipment will be provided.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * \\n\\n Setting out works in accordance with drawings and specifications.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ensuring accuracy and quality of setting-out for all site activities.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Working closely with the site management team and subcontractors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Checking levels, lines, and dimensions on site.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assisting with quality control and ensuring works are delivered to programme.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Reporting progress and issues to the Site/Project Manager.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * \\n\\n Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on construction projects.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and site procedures.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to work independently and manage setting-out activities on site.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Good communication skills and a proactive approach.\\n\\n * \\n\\n CSCS card required.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Available to start immediately.\\n\\nWhat’s on Offer\\n\\n * \\n\\n Immediate start on a busy project in Brighton.\\n\\n * \\n\\n 4–5 months’ work with consistent site presence.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competitive rate (dependent on experience).\\n\\n * \\n\\n Equipment provided.\\n\\n📩 Apply now with your CV — interviews and starts available immediately
