We are recruiting an experienced Site-Based Project Manager to deliver a construction project in Lincolnshire. Reporting to the client's Project Leader, you will take full responsibility for site operations, project planning, team leadership, and client liaison, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site team, ensuring all site activities are delivered efficiently and safely.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client and their professional team.
- Ensure compliance with company quality systems, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Drive a positive site culture aligned with company values and social value initiatives.
- Maintain robust project management systems to deliver a consistent and high-quality service.
- Promote and ensure full utilisation of project management software, including 4P, R-Drive, Multivista, M-Site, and Asta Power Project.
- Support the planning, monitoring, and control of programme, cost, quality, and risk.
- Carry out additional duties as required to ensure successful project delivery.
Daily Duties
- Manage and coordinate the site management team and workforce.
- Liaise with the client, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Maintain the labour resource whiteboard.
- Complete the R-Drive Project Manager report.
- Update R-Drive DABS and maintain the site diary.
Weekly Duties
- Produce and manage a 4-week look-ahead programme.
- Chair and attend internal progress meetings.
- Maintain the Key Action Tracker.
- Update and manage programme information.
- Attend strategy and planning meetings.
- Identify, manage, and record project delays.
- Review and collate R-Drive reports and toolbox talks from the site team.
- Produce weekly progress reports for the Project Lead and monthly reports for client meetings.
- Chair, minute, and manage weekly foreman and management meetings.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager / Site-Based Project Manager in the construction sector.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Competent in construction planning and digital project management systems.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
