About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced SMSTS site manager to join their team on a major project in Dudley. This is a long-term contract offering a great opportunity to work on a high-profile, energy-sector development.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining smooth day-to-day site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities
- Ensure health & safety compliance in line with SMSTS requirements
- Liaise with site managers, contractors, and trades teams
- Monitor and report on site progress
- Assist in site inductions, toolbox talks, and method statements
- Maintain site records and ensure adherence to company standards
Requirements:
- Valid SMSTS certification
- Previous foreman experience on construction or power/energy sector projects
- Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
