We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded NPD Manager to join our Product Development team. Reporting to the Head of Product Development, you will play a key role in bringing new products to market, supporting our innovation pipeline, and leading a team of Product Developers across a wide range of projects.

In this customer-facing role, you’ll build strong relationships, understand requirements, and turn them into commercially successful products for our global private label and own-brand partners. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will help bring new products from concept to launch, while ensuring projects stay on track and deliver against customer and business needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both product development and people management. You'll be responsible for supporting and developing your team, managing priorities across multiple projects, and helping turn great ideas into commercially successful products.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Supporting the growth of the Product Development team by setting clear objectives, priorities, and progression plans for direct reports.
    • Drive a collaborative team culture that encourages creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning.
    • Managing your teams workload and resource across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Product Development & Innovation
    • Working closely with the wider team to deliver the NPD pipeline and innovation plans for assigned brands and customer accounts.
    • Ensuring all development projects meet commercial, technical, regulatory, and customer requirements.
    • Overseeing the testing, evaluation, and continuous improvement of new and existing formulations.
  • Project & Stakeholder Management
    • Creating comprehensive product, packaging, and labelling briefs.
    • Collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Maintaining and reporting on a rolling project pipeline with accurate and detailed updates.
  • Commercial & Strategic Responsibility
    • Take ownership of product costing, margin management, and commercial viability throughout the development process.
    • Negotiate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
    • Contribute to the overall product and innovation strategy of the business.
