Professional Beauty Systems

We are a leading hair and beauty brand manufacturing company, known for our innovative, high-quality products and dedication to customer satisfaction. With over 40 years of experience working with some of the best people and brands in the industry, we are continuing to grow our team and are looking for a talented marketing professional to join us.

We are seeking a creative, commercially minded and highly organised Marketing Executive to play an important role in developing the marketing and digital presence of brands within the Hive of Beauty company, including but not limited to Hive®, +maskology® and The Knot Dr®.

This a full-time office-based position and is a hands-on role with social media and content creation at its core, but with involvement across the wider marketing mix. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple brands, audiences, and channels, helping to develop their presence, communicate their identity and ultimately support their commercial growth.

We are looking for someone who can bring creative ideas to the table, but also turn those ideas into well-planned, well-executed marketing activity.

You will be given responsibility and creative freedom, but will also need to be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and comfortable working to agreed deadlines and objectives. You will be expected to take ownership of your work while keeping your line manager informed of progress, priorities, results, and any issues requiring attention.

The Role

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy.
  • Own the planning, creation and execution of monthly content calendars across multiple brands and channels.
  • Manage multiple brands, projects and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring marketing activity is prioritised, organised and delivered on time.
  • Create engaging, relevant content for email campaigns, with a focus on driving engagement and revenue.
  • Develop and execute creative campaigns that are engaging, commercially focused and consistent with each brand's identity.
  • Communicate brand, campaign and digital marketing updates to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities across social media, email and wider digital marketing channels.
  • Develop creative content plans tailored to each brand's target audience, objectives and tone of voice.
  • Manage and prioritise your own workload, providing regular updates to your line manager on progress, priorities, results and any issues requiring attention.
  • Actively grow and develop social communities, identifying relevant influencers and supporting the planning and management of influencer campaigns and collaborations.
  • Plan, manage and monitor promotional activity and paid social campaigns, using performance data to optimise results and maximise return on investment.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis, benchmarking relevant brands and translating findings into actionable recommendations to improve our brands' social and digital strategies.
  • Identify new opportunities, trends and ideas that could strengthen brand awareness, engagement and commercial performance.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is creative enough to generate ideas, commercially minded enough to understand why they matter, and organised enough to make sure they actually happen.

You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing, social media or content-focused role and be ready to take the next step in your career.

You will be someone who:

  • Has strong visual storytelling skills and a portfolio of previous work.
  • Has proven experience creating and managing content for social media and digital channels.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong copywriting and proofreading ability.
  • Has a good understanding of social media platforms and best practices for creating engaging content.
  • Has experience producing and managing paid social advertising campaigns.
  • Is proficient in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar software.
  • Has experience using AI tools to support content creation and wider marketing activity.
  • Has excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Is confident working independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Takes a proactive approach, with the confidence to bring forward new ideas, identify opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Has a genuine interest in brands, social media and the hair & beauty industry.

Experience within the hair, beauty, cosmetics, fashion, or lifestyle sectors would be advantageous.

  • - Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • - Collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • - Access to company products and discounts.
