Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week (flexible schedule)

Role Summary

We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic Part-Time Marketing Manager to take the lead in generating new business opportunities across our portfolio of professional training services. This home-based position reports directly to the CEO and is ideally suited to a self-motivated marketer with a strong track record in lead generation and a working knowledge of B2B education, training and apprenticeship sectors.

With the support of a small marketing team, you will plan, execute, and optimise campaigns across multiple digital and offline channels. Your performance will be directly tied to measurable business outcomes, with a bonus structure based on leads generated. You will be technically competent with an interest in all areas of emerging marketing related technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation Strategy
    • Design and execute integrated lead generation campaigns across web, email, events, and social media.
    • Define and refine audience personas to improve message relevance and conversion rates.
    • Build automated nurturing workflows and retargeting strategies to increase marketing-qualified leads (MQLs).
  • Channel & Content Management
    • Deliver coordinated campaigns across email marketing, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, video, and social platforms.
    • Manage scheduling, publishing, and analytics on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube using Hootsuite.
    • Commission and create high-quality content using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Digital Marketing & UX
    • Improve organic search visibility through SEO and AIO (AI-driven content optimisation) using tools like Ahrefs.
    • Manage PPC campaigns and report on ROI.
    • Enhance the UX and conversion performance of the company website, particularly for lead capture journeys.
  • CRM & Automation
    • Use Microsoft Dynamics to segment audiences, run marketing journeys, and track lead attribution.
    • Develop, manage, and report on newsletter engagement and automation flows.
    • Analyse and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics and other tools.
  • Team Leadership
    • Direct and develop a small team of marketing executives and creatives.
    • Delegate projects, set performance metrics, and ensure consistency in output quality.
  • Events & Promotions
    • Plan, coordinate, and promote exhibitions, industry events, and online webinars.
    • Create pre-event and post-event campaigns to maximise lead collection and engagement.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Demonstrable success in generating high-quality B2B leads through multichannel campaigns.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing, content strategy, and funnel optimisation.
  • Competent in marketing automation, social media strategy, and performance reporting.
  • Confident in managing a small team and working directly with senior leadership.

Desirable (Advantageous) Experience

  • Marketing experience in apprenticeships, professional qualifications, or bespoke corporate training.
  • Familiarity with education funding structures, employer decision-making cycles, and qualification frameworks.
  • Understanding of learner journeys and business development within the training and development sector.
