Their focus is enterprise level security systems & mission critical infrastructure security system design solutions for blue chip clients. The company has been established for 20+ years with a current turnover of circa £50m. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing company, which operates within the rapidly expanding data centre sector. The ideal candidate will manage the creation and upkeep of Revit models, drawings, and related documentation. A deep knowledge of Revit software is essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Duties: Managing and maintaining Revit models, drawings, and associated documentation. Offering technical assistance to team members. Ensuring model and drawing accuracy while optimizing efficiency. Reviewing and auditing design models to ensure compliance with BIM execution strategies. Meeting project timelines and adhering to specified deadlines. Updating annotations, including as-built references, revisions, and statuses. Performing basic modifications to family objects. Utilizing tools like BIM360, Navisworks, Excel, and DiRoots. Conducting model coordination, clash detection, and working with federated models. Creating 2D sheets and managing views, title blocks, and layouts. Following client-specific protocols and requirements. Supporting the development and implementation of Revit standards and best practices. Identifying and resolving Revit model issues. Leveraging Bluebeam and markup tools to support modeling efforts. Understanding scheduling and shared parameters for effective project planning. Familiarity with point cloud scans and the as-built documentation process. Validating redlines and preparing presentations for client review. Requirements: Revit experience whilst working for a security or MEP company. Salary: It’s a permanent position with a negotiable basic salary.
